My Football Reflection

Football Reflection, Term 4 2024

Name: River

For Physical Education this term, I have been learning how to play football with Lottie, Lisa and Amy.

We played games to learn football skills. My favourite game was fishy fishy because not many people got me out and I almost won.

I have learnt to a roll over.

I focused on improving on dribbling and passing.

The most challenging part of learning football was getting passed to me.

I enjoyed playing the game of football because I enjoy defending.

Are you interested in playing football for a club, Winter Sport or in your breaks. I already play for Burwood and I play winter sport football.

I have shown the RISE value of resilience by trying a lot of new football games.

Kī-o Rahi

For Monday mashup we played a game of Kī-o Rahi. We learnt about the pūrākau (narrative) of the game and then had a go. I felt  challenged because I had never played before. I showed resilience because I failed a few times but i learnt from my mistakes. I showed sportsmanship by never giving up. I recommend Kī-o Rahi because it is very fun.

Climate Change Interview

We are wanting to protect the ocean because there is to much litter in oceans, lakes and rivers. I worked with Daetyn, Elijah and Dylan because there was no other group to work with.

Monday Mashup Chrome music lab

Today for Monday mashup I finished my song in Chrome music lab this is how i made it.  Firstly I chose the instruments I picked the Marimba and the Electronic, secondly I made the tune this part took the longest. Finally I listened to it to check if it sounded right, it did so I saved it. It was actually quite easy.

Here is my song

Monday mashup

For Monday mashup we explored using magnets. We had a science kit which included magnets, paper clips little circle magnets and Play- dough. In my group there was Tommy Mehran and me. we discovered that the black magnets on one side repels the magnet.

For maths we have been learning about time. The main thing I liked was learning to read analogue clocks. The image above, is my representation of time.
